Topos, Detroit Action
Detroit Action enlisted the Topos Partnership to study their canvass operation using anthropological methods:
- observing and describing how the canvass actually works on the ground,
- gauging how well interactions in the field reflect DA’s mission and values,
- analyzing narratives—what works, what’s missing, what can be improved upon, and
- suggesting changes and improvements to the canvass and the efforts to organize and build power.
