Ranada Robinson
Ranada Robinson is the Senior Director of Research and Strategy at Georgia Alliance for Progress, where she and her team transform award-winning research findings into insights that inform the Georgia progressive ecosystem’s strategic voter engagement and mobilization efforts, particularly those related to Black voters. Ranada is at the forefront of research on Black voters’ sentiments, attitudes, and practices around voting and key issues in Georgia. She is a master at infusing research into messaging for myriad audiences. While creating the Research Department at New Georgia Project and the New Georgia Project Action Fund, she coined the term “high-opportunity voter” to better describe oft ignored voters who are traditionally called “low propensity,” a term that has been adopted by several organizations in recent years. Ranada holds a Master of Science in Urban Policy Studies and a Master of Science in Risk Management and Insurance from Georgia State University. Ranada also earned bachelor’s degrees in mathematics and computer science from Tougaloo College in Mississippi.
